Tough questions need informed answers
Within the context of addiction as a whole, and taking into account the latest research and statistics, how does a mission agency identify and help those struggling with an addiction, in particular, to pornography? As an organisation, are you ready to respond appropriately and with compassion to individuals who are impacted by LGBT and / or gender fluidity concerns?

How can you balance your Biblical and theological position with the prevailing secular liberal UK culture in which we live and work? How can your organisation address behaviours that are unacceptable in the light of your ethos and Christian witness, but not illegal? And specifically, how do you also manage these issues in cross-cultural settings?

As we work through these important topics together, the two key questions we will keep asking throughout the day are:

  • What are the pastoral, theological and legal principles we should consider?
  • How are these reflected in our policies and practices?

We look forward to hearing from Mark Mason (Mark Mason Employment Law), Peter Saunders (Christian Medical Fellowship) and Graham Fawcett (Thrive Worldwide).
