The Millennial generation (those reaching young adulthood in the early 21st century - born between 1982 and 2004) are at an age where they are engaging in short-term mission experiences. How do we need to adapt our attitudes, methods, and processes to ensure that they have the best possible experience of short-term mission and help contribute to the challenges and opportunities of our churches and agencies? And how does the wider context of the changes in mission globally influence our thinking about short-term mission?
The Short Term Mission Forum 2017 will explore the following issues as they relate to our theme "Millennials, mentoring and mobilisation":
- Challenges and changes in mobilisation
- From everywhere to everywhere: polycentric mission
- Mobilising Millennials
- Mentoring with meaning
- Forum updates: BS8848 and the Code of Best Practice Review 2018
