One initiative of the Micah Network is Micah Challenge. Active in 40 different nations, Micah Challenge aims to provide a global voice on poverty for Christians, encouraging us to be informed, to engage and to speak out for justice. Micah Challenge believes that the Millennium Development Goals provide the world with the best opportunity it has ever had to eradicate extreme poverty, and is bringing the Church worldwide together in a united cry for this opportunity to be taken. In the UK, the movement is growing all the time as charities, churches and individuals add their voice.
The International Director is Joel Edwards and he also represents the Micah Challenge in the UK. For more information, visit their website www.micahchallenge.org.uk
