Muslims in Post-Soviet Contexts

It is just over 30 years since the breakup of the Soviet Union created the twenty-first century map of Central Asia and Eastern Europe. There are Muslim communities in (almost) all of these countries and those in Central Asia are Muslim-majority.

  • What factors affect engagement within such contexts?
  • What are we seeing in terms of evangelism, discipleship and church growth?
  • What about diaspora communities?
  • What changes might occur due to recent and current events?

A panel of speakers familiar with the area, some based in post-Soviet contexts, will lead our discussions. The programme may also include brief contributions from others.

The event will NOT be recorded.
We aim to admit participants from the waiting room from 10:20 to ensure a prompt start at 10:30.
