Short Term Mission Forum (A 24-hour event)

The forum seeks to provide a way for agencies and churches to be committed to excellence and to meet the best possible standards in the running of our short-term programmes.

Short-term mission trips, whether for teams or individuals, depend heavily on the quality of the preparation and finishing of the programmes.  How can we ensure that we have adequately prepared our participants for the challenges they are likely to meet, whether physical, emotional or spiritual?  How can we help them process what happens to them so that they finish well and thrive on their return?  And how can we make sure that their short-term experience is a significant part of their long-term journey?

To be held at King’s Park Conference Centre in Northampton, this year’s forum will be on 17-18 October and will feature presentations by Dr Debbie Hawker (ARREST) and Louisa Evans (All Nations Christian College).

Price for Global Connections' members is £105 and £135 for non-members.

Cancellation Policy: The majority of the cost of a residential event is the accommodation charge which we have to pay to the conference centre well in advance of the event. Therefore, although we will aim to be as generous as possible with our refunds, they will normally only consist of a small proportion of the amount paid and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
