Called to....Stay and Send at Belfast Bible College

Are you from a church that is currently sending missionaries to serve God overseas? Does your church want to think about how to raise up missionaries and send them out in the future? This course will look at the vital role of the local church – and especially its leadership - in the setting apart, sending out and support of church members for medium to long-term mission overseas. This practical course will draw on biblical models and experiences from life in congregational leadership and service overseas.

This is a 3 week course running every Tuesday night from 26th November 2019 – 10th December, 7.00pm to 9.15pm. The cost is £40

Friendship First

The Friendship First Course is an interactive, non-specialist course that equips Christians with vision, confidence, skills and resources to make friends with Muslim people and to share their greatest gift of love which is Jesus Christ himself. This is not just a job for ‘specialists’, but for the whole church.

This six session course is for believing Christians from all walks of life. It aims to give them:

  • A positive attitude towards their Muslim neighbours in Britain
  • Relevant Knowledge about Islam and Muslim Cultures
  • Sufficient skills to make a start in personal friendship and witness

It can be used in home groups in local churches, Christian Unions in universities, or larger seminar settings.

Discipleship Training School (DTS)

A DTS is six months of personally experiencing God and living the adventure of taking His message to the nations. It's an intense, full-time program consisting of two parts - lecture phase and outreach phase.

The main qualification for studying in a DTS is that you have a relationship with God, want to grow in Him and want to help other people get to know Him. The other qualification is that you are at least 18 years old and/or have completed High School.

Forge Ireland

The Forge Pioneer Course is a leadership training and mentoring programme for those who sense that God might be leading them into creating new expressions of church. Through a combination of teaching weekends, practical placements, mentoring and assignments, the course is intended to prepare people to launch into what God is calling them to do.

The purpose of the pioeering course is to validate the pioneering spirit, creating a beachhead for making Kingdom ground and championing a voice for change in church as we know it.

The pioneer course explores the questions raised by church, culture & Kingdom as well as fostering relationships between like-minded, Kingdom-seeking trail-blazers and connects them with others on the same journey.
