Pray for Igor Améstegui in his role as Director for Langham Preaching in Latin America. Pray for wisdom and guidance as he leads his team and plans for the future.

Give thanks for Roshi Philip, Distribution Manager in Carlisle who oversees the distribution of 1000's of books to Majority World Bible Colleges through its Library Grants scheme. Pray for Roshi and his team as they plan and prepare for next year.

Last month saw the virtual launch of Langham publication ‘God’s Heart for Child Protection and Safeguarding’ (edited by Lucy Kajidori). Give thanks for this important resource and pray that it may truly be used for good around the world.

Please pray urgently about the Ebola crisis in Africa. Pray that Ebola will stop spreading – pray especially for our Langham family in the DR Congo and Uganda who are affected by the outbreak. Pray for their safety and protection.

LPUKI is exhibiting at various conferences this summer. Please pray for stamina for the staff and volunteers. Pray that many new people at these conferences will become supporters.

Give thanks for Mia Gener, Langham Scholars Administrator, based in the Philippines. Pray for the Lord’s help in her many and varied tasks.

Last month, preaching training took place on Zoom for preachers across Trinidad and Tobago, led by Andy Oatridge. Praise God for this opportunity, and pray for much fruit as a result of this training.

Give thanks for Alex Chiang, who oversees preaching training for Hispanic Diaspora in Canada and the US. Please pray for all who attended training in June, that the Hispanic Church in Canada would be salt and light in an increasingly secular society.

The Hausa people (40.3m) were enslaved into Islam until 1900s. Men work the fields while women focus on cooking and childcare. 805 workers are needed to reach them (JoshuaProject). Pray that the Hausa Bible will penetrate even stony hearts.

Fulani (20.6m) had a powerful empire in 1800s. They move cattle herds for fresh grass and water, and respect their environment. Pray for more workers to serve the Fulani people, to help them find freedom, peace and transformation through the Gospel.

Pray for Afghanistan's frontier unreached peoples. God is building his church in extreme oppression and persecution, proving undeterred Kingdom advance, stories of fearless witnesses, miraculous encounters. Pray for leader Hibatullah Akhundzada.
