Pray for Ukrainian theological institutions (e.g. Odesa Theological Seminary) to be sensitive to and effective in their response to the needs of churches and society.

This month there is a virtual gathering for 80 escuelita coordinators from across Latin America. Please pray for encouragement and that coordinators inspire their escuelitas to contribute financially to the support of their preaching movements.

Please pray for training in Paynesville this month for 40 women coordinating ushirikas/ preaching groups in Liberia. Pray for growth in the preaching movement, for faithful preachers and teachers of the Word, and for effectiveness and productivity.

Ruth Slater, Associate Director of Langham Preaching, has moved on to pastures new. Praise God for her huge impact over the last 18 and a half years and pray for God’s wisdom and guidance as the leadership team make decisions about recruitment.

Please keep praying for Langham UKI’s partnership with Operation Mobilisation, during its ‘Waves of Hope’ tour. Langham is hosting events on board the Logos Hope ship at several locations across the UK.

Praise God that the Korean translation of Langham book ‘Sarah’s Laughter’ won an award by their Government! They will purchase copies for public libraries. Pray that many will touched by this book, dealing with the topic of suffering and grief.

Give thanks to God for Langham Graduate Dr Oleksandr Geychenko, from Ukraine, who was our guest on Langham Live last month. Please pray for strength in his role as rector of Odesa Theological Seminary during the ongoing devastating war.

Give thanks for the growing number of people reading the "Bible in Simple French". Pray that more readers will discover they can understand God’s Word through this translation.

2:19 Teach to Reach who have multiple new writing projects and one reprint coming up. Thank God for funding that has been raised so far and pray with us for what is still needed for project completion and wisdom for the teams writing & editing.

23-31 AUG This week we pray for our partners at the Kadella Centre in Sri Lanka: for the team serving people with HIV/AIDS; health and stability for children in the feeding programme; and an end to HIV-related stigma and discrimination.

16-22 AUG This week we pray for our partners in South Sudan: for the children of Thurlith School; safe housing and family reunification for unaccompanied children; peace and stability across the region; and greater access to quality education.
