Antigua and Barbuda
The Antigua State College is the only place of higher education on this small Caribbean island. Groups of Christian students meet in the college as well as in eight state-run secondary schools, but for a long time the groups remained small and isolated from each other. However, this has all changed in the last few years. Times of shared worship and discussion as well as events such as Testimony Tuesdays and a trip to a deprived community in Dominica have encouraged and energised the students. They are starting to realise that they are not alone and are part of something bigger than themselves, giving them the boldness to reach out to their peers. Praise God for this work through ISCCF Antigua. Pray that God will continue to stir up Christian students in Antigua to have an impact on their schools and ultimately their country.
