Meadow Way Chapel

Type: Church
Meadow Way Chapel (MWC) is located in Hellesdon, a suburb 4 miles North West of Norwich city centre. It is a self-governing independent evangelical church but it has close links with other churches, including affiliation with Evangelical Alliance. We believe MWC is a friendly, inclusive, welcoming, community focused, Biblical church that encourages all its members to be active in service for the Lord. We have people of all ages attending, with particularly strong representation from under 18s, over 60s and families. We desire to see the light of Jesus shining in the heart of the community in this area of Norwich. MWC is a registered charity (under the name Hellesdon Christian Fellowship) with a board of Trustees. A group of Elders are responsible for the day to day running of the church, working alongside a team of Deacons and other leaders of specific areas. Meadow Way Chapel is about bringing purpose to life, by...  Loving God  Sharing together  Developing faith  Serving community Our mission statement reflects who we are, what is important to us and why we meet together. These four principles are evident within our church life as follows:  Loving God – our primary purpose is to worship God: Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Within our services our desire is to glorify God as we express our love and thanks to Him for who He is and all He has done for us. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind”  Sharing together – loving and caring for people is essential to us. We have a very strong sense of family and want people to feel welcomed and valued as we live life together and build relationships with God and each other. You will always feel at home with us. “Love one another deeply, from the heart”  Developing faith – growing in our relationship with God is vital. Through Bible-based teaching we aim to help people find, develop and grow in their faith so that they are equipped and strengthened to follow and serve their Saviour. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations”  Serving community – our heart is to share God’s love in both words and actions. We seek to be active and relevant within our community, reaching out to young and old alike with God’s grace and hope in order to make a difference. “Love your neighbour as yourself”
