Many of the children have been returned to their wider families but are still supported with educational needs.

NOTDEC Uganda was started by a Christian Ugandan lady who began to look after orphaned and abandoned children in her own home.  NOTDEC UK was formed to support this work in Uganda by providing funds and expertise help. NOTDEC Uganda has now expanded to help nearly 150 children and has 35 full time staff.  They are appointing a new post of director to manage the centre and request someone from the UK who has managerial experience to work alongside the new director giving support and advice
