United Beach Missions

UBM consists of Beach Mission teams, 'Christian Answer' (the open air preaching wing of UBM) teams and International Student Outreach teams. Each summer we operate about 90 missions around the UK, the Republic of Ireland and continental Europe. More detail for each aspect of the work can be accessed by clicking on the coloured links at the top right of this page.

In terms of worker weeks, the equivalent of between 25 and 30 years missionary effort is expended on teams each summer. And every year there are many who profess faith in Christ while others still search and remain in contact with team members through UBM's follow-up support system. Countless conversations are had with people from all over the world about Christ and after every summer about 450 children sign up for the Postal Bible Club.

UBM provides a great opportunity for Christians to serve, whether old or young, extrovert or quiet. All that is required is a desire to share the Gospel. UBM is a great way of reaching people today, but more than this your faith will grow as you share fellowship in God's work.

The people who make up UBM teams are all committed Christians, who are giving their time voluntarily to tell people about the Good News of Jesus Christ!
